I have traveled quite a ways concerning the ministry God has for me. Looking back more than twenty years, I took one class part-time at a seminary in Southern California. Back then, I had no idea I would arrive in Pittsburgh Metro to serve in a church. Much more happened between California and Pennsylvania including Hurricane Katrina and seminary at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. I thank God I headed to Pennsylvania geographically but also on a spiritual journey.
I have been mentally and physically on the move. I first served at Crafton United Methodist and Ingomar Church. I am currently serving as the Coordinator of Diversity Development in the United Methodist Center in Western Pennsylvania.
It feels apropos to call the blog “Being in Ephesus” as Ephesus marked the apostle Paul’s second missionary journey where he started a church. Paul’s book of Ephesians offers much to the church as a guidepost for community and polity.
All are welcome to come and join with me here at the “Being in Ephesus” blog.
